Robert serves as Chief Procurement Officer, leading the product function with responsibility for delivering commercial outcomes and overseeing all vendor partner relationships. His role focuses on driving value creation, shaping strategic direction, and ensuring our offering remains competitive and aligned to client needs.
Robert brings over 17 years of procurement experience, including 13 years with Compass Group across the UK, Ireland, Canada, and the US. Robert was part of the original launch team of Foodbuy UK & Ireland and most recently served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Sourcing for Foodbuy USA.
Before moving into foodservice, Robert built his early career in manufacturing and importing within the ceramics sector, working with organisations including Wedgwood, Royal Doulton, Waterford Crystal and Johnson Tiles.
Outside of work, Robert is a committed Stoke City F.C supporter, a keen wine enthusiast, and enjoys travelling and exploring new cultures.
