Outstanding suppliers celebrated at Foodbuy Conference and Awards 2023

We held our Foodbuy Conference for the 6^th year running at ExCeL London in February. Since the first conference in 2014, we have seen this event evolve and grow to be the highlight of the Foodbuy calendar. Over 450 suppliers, clients and colleagues joined us for a full-day conference with a sustainability-focused programme and gala awards dinner.

The Foodbuy Conference 2023 provided our suppliers and clients with exclusive insight into the business and what Foodbuy has planned for the year ahead. As well as hearing from our Executive team, the Foodbuy Conference enabled attendees to understand further the journey Foodbuy is on as a business.

We then rounded off the conference with an awards ceremony hosted by comedian Paddy McGuinness. The Foodbuy Supplier Awards 2023 recognised the outstanding contribution our suppliers made to our business over the past year. We were delighted to celebrate the great work these companies have done and the part they play in Foodbuy’s success.

There were eight category winners, including new categories to reflect our sustainability commitments. The full breakdown of winners is as follows:

4. Supply Chain Partner of the Year - GV Group
5. Foodbuy Client Supplier of the Year - Bidfood
6. Best Sustainability Practice - Lake District Farmers
7. Best Social Value Programme - Change Please
8. Overall Supplier of the Year -  Enotria&Coe
