As Chief Executive Officer of Foodbuy Group, Gareth leads the business with a clear focus on delivering outstanding procurement solutions for our clients, ensuring they unlock the full value of their supply chains through quality, innovation and sustainable practices.
In addition to his leadership at Foodbuy, Gareth continues to provide strategic financial leadership as Chief Financial Officer for our parent company, Compass Group UK & Ireland.
Gareth previously held a range of roles at PwC and Tesco. During his nine-year career at Tesco, he worked across the UK retail and dunnhumby businesses before relocating to Bangkok in 2018 as CFO for Asia. In this role, he played an integral part in the sale of the Thailand and Malaysia businesses in December 2020.
In 2021, Gareth joined the Board of Springboard, reflecting his commitment to helping people into employment across hospitality, leisure and tourism.
