Raising the standard: Innovative allergen training for all Foodbuy colleagues

At Foodbuy Group, safety, knowledge, and excellence aren’t just priorities - they’re our responsibility. As the UK’s largest Group Purchasing Organisation (GPO), with over 400 procurement and category experts, we set the benchmark for the food and non-food procurement industry. Ensuring our colleagues are informed and vigilant about allergens is a critical part of that mission.

That’s why we’re excited to announce that we have begun implementing a series of Allergen Training sessions for all Foodbuy Group colleagues. Over the next six weeks, every member of the Foodbuy Group team will have the opportunity to learn directly from our dedicated Association for Nutrition (AfN) accredited and registered nutritionist team. These sessions are designed to go beyond compliance; by equipping our teams with expert allergen knowledge, we ensure our members can rely on safe and informed procurement decisions.
